Logic Triggers
Logic triggering initiates a data log as a result of an internal or external status change. A data log can be
triggered by any combination of alarm, contact output, or contact input state changes. The available logic
triggers are illustrated in Figure 12-5.

The Data Log screen (Figure 12-6) shows a list of records along with log number, number of points, date,
time, and record type.
Click the Download button to download and save the selected log as a Binary Comtrade, ASCII
Comtrade, or ASCII log file. Click the Refresh button to refresh the list of fault reports on the screen. Click
the Reset New button to clear the new records. Click the Reset Total button to clear all records.
Click the Trigger Record button to start the recorder. Click the Stop Record button to stop the recorder
and save the record to the list.
Click the Print Summary button to open the Print Preview screen and view or print a summary of the
selected data log. Click the Print Record button to open the Print Preview screen and view or print the full
details of the selected data log.
