GB Sound speed controller SFR-1
06.02.2019 BEIER-Electronic 31
If a function is defined as static, it will be
switched on as long as the joy-stick is in
the corresponding area. If you leave the
area, the function will be switched off
again.
If a function is defined as memory and
you move the joy-stick for the specified
time (short or long) in the corresponding
area, it will be switched on. If you leave
the area, the function remains switched
on (it is saved). It remains on, until the
the joy-stick is moved in the
corresponding area again. Exceptional
are additional sounds with the setting
"once" in "Additional sound". Despite a
memory setting in "Configuration" the
sound is played only once.
You can read on page 24, which functions can be assigned to the 4 areas A, B, C
and D.
Proportional channel #1
Channel #1 is used for the speed information, in order to play the engine sounds
speed dependent.
In order to play the correct driving sound, the neutral position of channel #1 must be
correctly set. On page 16 you can see how the setting can be used.
Proportional channel #2
In the standard setting, the channel #2 is used for steering. However, it is possible do
deactivate the steering function (Configuration General) and use the channel as a
„normal“ proportional channel.
Proportional channel #3
Channel #3 is used to trigger functions „normal“ or with EKMFA mode and Nautic 1.
Proportional channel l #4
Nautic/multiswitch module Nautic 2 can be activated at channel #4.
Proportional channel #6
Sum signals, such as S-Bus and SUMD are transferred to channel #6. The channel
can also be used a anormal proportional channel.
Neutral position of channel #1 - #6
In general, remote control manufacturer do not define a standard neutral position,
therefore the neutral positions for the channels #1 - #6 are set up with the teaching
function, see page 16.
Hint:
With the diagnosis function and the data cable K-USB-2 the neutral position of each
channel can be checked. For more information, see page 90.
