SAFETY DEVICES
The Motorcultivator is equipped with se-
veral safety devices, which are:
1) MOTORSTOP
The working position of the Motorstop
control lever 1 is shown in Fig. 15A.
If, for any reason, the handlebars are re-
leased from the operator’s hands, lever
1 will automatically adopt the position
shown in Fig. 15A and thus stop the en-
gine.
2) CLUTCH HOOK
With clutch hook C (Fig. 15C) inserted,
any power transmission with gears en-
gaged will be prevented.
3) POWER TAKE-OFF HINDRANCE
DEVICE
This very important device avoids the
simultaneous engagement of P.T.O. and
reverse gear, when tiller is mounted.
Therefore, to use the reverse gear, it is
first necessary to disengage the P.T.O.
