• Druk op de verlichte schakelaar (15) om de machine aan te zetten.

Na het uitschenken van de espresso, verwijder de capsule en spoel de capsulehouder (14) en de
fi lterhouder (10) goed af. Schud na het afspoelen de twee onderdelen om eventuele waterresten te

4 ....RAADGEVING
• Om de koffi e nog warmer te serveren verwarm de kopjes door warm water uit de lege fi lterhouder (zonder
koffi e) erin te laten lopen.
• Gebruik altijd koffi e van de beste kwaliteit.
• De vermalingsgraad van de koffi e is belangrijk voor de goede werking van de machine en de kwaliteit van
de espresso.
Bij te grof gemalen koffi e zal de espresso te snel uitgeschonken worden terwijl te fi jn gemalen koffi e te
langzaam zal uitschenken.
• De oorzaak van te weinig schuim op de espresso is:
- een verkeerde vermalingsgraad van de koffi e;
- de koffi e is niet op de beste manier gebrand;
- de machine is niet warm genoeg,
- de koffi e is niet goed aangedrukt;
- slecht of oude koffi e;
• Voor de beste espresso wordt het aangeraden om de machine circa 3 minuten voor te verwarmen met de
lege fi lterhouder gemonteerd voordat ze wordt gebruikt.

GENERAL WARNINGS
Read these instructions carefully as they contain important information about safe installation, use
and maintenance. Keep this manual with care for future reference.
• After removing the packaging, and before using the appliance, make sure the appliance and all the
accessories are working well. Likewise, the electrical plug and sheath should not be cracked or broken.
If the conditions described above are observed, immediately unplug the appliance from mains outlet and
take it to an authorized After-Sales Service Centre for necessary checking.
• The packing materials (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, nails, etc) should be kept away from children
since they are potential sources of danger.
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure the line voltage is correct. The tag is located on the bottom
of the body of the appliance.
• If the plug does not fi t into the wall outlet, have the wall outlet replaced with another type by a qualifi ed
electrician. He must also check that the cord is suitable for the power absorbed by the appliance. In general,
it is not advisable to use an adaptor, multiple socket or an extension cord. If they are necessary, use only
simple or multiple adaptors and extension cords that conform to safety regulations, being careful not to
exceed the load limits indicated on the adaptor and the extension cord, and the maximum power indicated
on the multiple adapto
The appliance must be powered by means of a differential circuit breaker with an operating
current of no more than 30 mA.
