ELIMINAÇÃO DO APARELHO
• Este produto está em conformidade com a directiva 2002/96/CE.
• O símbolo do caixote do lixo com uma cruz por cima inscrito no aparelho signifi ca que o
aparelho, no fi m da sua vida útil, deve ser tratado separadamente dos lixos domésticos,
deve ser entregue a um centro de recolha especializado em aparelhos eléctricos e
electrónicos, ou entregue na loja onde comprar o seu novo aparelho.
• O utilizador é responsável pela entrega do seu aparelho em fi m de vida às estruturas
adequadas para a recolha, sujeitando-se caso contrário às sanções previstas na lei
vigente sobre os resíduos sólidos.
• A recolha adequada do aparelho não reciclável para o envio posterior para tratamento
e destruição amiga do ambiente contribui para evitar possíveis efeitos negativos sobre
o meio ambiente e sobre a saúde, e favorece a reciclagem dos materiais que compõem
o produto.
• Para obter informações mais detalhadas sobre os sistemas de recolha disponíveis dirija-
se ao serviço de destruição de resíduos mais próximo de si, ou à loja onde comprou o
aparelho.

DECALCIFICATION CYCLE
• Periodically carry out a decalcifi cation cycle.
Carrying out this procedure with greater or lesser frequency depends on the hardness of the water being
used.
• Fill tank (5) with water up to maximum level.
• Pour a dose of decalcifying liquid (non toxic and commercially available and suitable for coffee machines)
into water tank (5).
Check that dial (18) is in position

Press on/off switch
(15) to turn machine on. Wait until light turns on and stays lit.
• Insert fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g.“E”).
The fi lter holder must be inserted before turning machine on, otherwise machine cannot function.
If the fi lter holder is not properly inserted , the coffee delivery light will continue to fl ash.
• Place a cup on the grill (6) under the fi lter holder spout.
• Wait until the coffee delivery switch light
(16) is on and stays lit (otherwise the pump will not start),
then turn dial (18) to position ”

to start delivery from fi lter holder spout.
• To stop delivery, turn dial (18) again to position

• Repeat this procedure 2/3 times until all the water in the tank has been used.
To remove all residues from the circuit, at the end of procedure, repeat the procedure as described
above using only clean water.
When using decalcifying products, always follow the directions found on the package provided by the
product manufacturers.
