The fi lter holder must be inserted before turning the machine on, otherwise the machine cannot function.
In case the fi lter holder has not been inserted correctly , the coffee delivery switch light will keep fl ashing.
• Place a cup on the grill (6) under the fi lter holder spout.
• Wait for the coffee delivery switch light
(16) to stay lit (if the light doesn’t turn on and stay lit, the
pump will not start), then turn dial (18) to position ”

3 ....MAKING COFFEE
3a - Using ground coffee
Use ground coffee suitable for machines for “bar”- type espresso coffee.
Check that there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine if there is no water in tank (5).
Make sure dial (18) is at position

Remove fi lter holder (10) from its housing.
• Place desired fi lter inside fi lter holder (10), making sure to fi t the tabs on the side of the fi lter “C1” into the
slots in the fi lter holder ”C2” (fi g. “C”).
- “12” for one cup (fi g.“F”)
- “13” for two cups (fi g.“G”).
• If using fi lter for one cup (12), with a teaspoon, fi ll with about 10 grams* coffee or if a two cup fi lter (13)
is being used, fi ll with about 20 grams* coffee (fi g.”H”).
• Lightly press the coffee in the fi lter down with a teaspoon (fi g.“I”).
• Insert the fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g.“E”).

Press the on/off switch
(15) to turn the machine on.
• Place one or two cups onto the grill (6). If only one cup is being used, place it in the centre of the grill under
the coffee delivery spouts (fi g.“L”).
• Wait until the light of the coffee delivery switch

When delivery of coffee is over, empty the fi lter (12 or 13) and rinse fi lter and fi lter holder (10) thoroughly.
After rinsing, shake both parts in order to eliminate any residual water.
10 grams*= about 3-4 teaspoons.
20 grams*= about 6-8 teaspoons.
