PREPARING THE MACHINE
Before connecting the appliance into the main electrical socket make sure that the switch
(15) is in “off” position and that the dial (18) is in position “
”.
• Place the appliance on a fl at, stable surface.
• Lift the cover (4) and fi ll the tank with cold water (5) up to the level indicated as MAX on the tank (maximum
quantity is 800 ml) (fi g.“D”).
Never use the appliance unless there is water in the tank (5) or if the water level is less than MIN level
indicated on the tank.
• While using the machine, the tank (5) can be fi lled or topped up by simply lifting the cover (4) (fi g.“D”), and
taking care to not exceed the maximum level as indicated.
• Connect the appliance into the mains socket ensuring that the features of the mains power outlet comply
with the technical data on the data plate located on the bottom of the appliance.

HEATING THE MACHINE
In order to make a good cup of coffee at the right temperature, the machine must be properly heated.
Check that the dial (18) is in position

• Press the on/off light switch
(15) to turn the machine on.
The light will begin to fl ash.
• Insert the fi lter holder (10) into its housing (fi g.“E”).

VOORBEREIDEN MACHINE
Voordat de machine aan het stroomnet wordt verbonden controleer of de schakelaar (15)
op “uit” staat en of draaiknop (18) in de positie “
” staat.
• Zet de machine op een vlak en stabiel oppervlakte.
• Hef de deksel (4) op en giet koud water in het reservoir (5) totdat het niveau MAX wordt bereikt dat hierop
is aangeduid (maximaal 800 ml) (fi g.“D”).
Gebruik de machine niet zonder water in het reservoir (5) of als het waterniveau lager ligt dan de referentie
MIN die hierop is aangeduid.
• Tijdens het gebruik van de machine is het mogelijk om het reservoir (5) te vullen of bij te vullen door
eenvoudig de deksel (4) op te heffen (4) (fi g.“D”), let op dat er niet teveel water wordt ingegoten.
• Verbindt de machine aan het stroomnet, controleer of de kenmerken van het stroomnet overeenkomen
met de technische gegevens die op het speciale gegevensplaatje op de onderkant van de machine staan.

VERWARMEN MACHINE
Per Om lekkere espresso te maken op de juiste temperatuur moet de machine goed warm zijn.
Controleer of de draaiknop (18) in de positie

• Druk op de verlichte schakelaar
(15) om de machine aan te zetten.
De verklikker begint te knipperen.
• Zet de fi lterhouder (10) op zijn plaats (fi g.“E”).
