5 ....DISPENSING STEAM
5a ....HEATING WATER OR FROTHING MILK FOR CAPPUCCINO
Make sure there is enough water in tank (5).
Do not use machine unless there is water in tank (5).
When dispensing steam from cappuccino maker (9)
always use tall containers and gloves or pot holders
to protect bare hands from scalding

Make sure fi lter holder is properly inserted in its housing.
Ensure that dial (18) is in position “ “.
• Press on/off switch (15) to turn machine on. Wait until light turns on and stays lit.
• Press steam/hot water switch (17).Wait until light turns on and stays lit.
• Place a tall container (a cappuccino mug, a tall glass, a pitcher, etc) under the cappuccino maker (9)
(fi g.“R”).

Turn dial (18) to position ” “, steam/hot water delivery, to dispense steam.
• To stop steam delivery, turn dial (18) again to position “ “.
At the onset of steam delivery, spurts of hot water could come out of spout.
To compensate for this, dispense into another container for a few seconds before heating the drink
with steam.
• To ensure that the nozzle is properly cleaned, once the steam wand has been removed from milk, dispense
steam for a few seconds into an empty container.
