5. INSTALLATION
The responsibility for the preparation work carried out in the room lies solely with the customer.
Before starting the installation, the installer must check all the necessary legal safety stand-
ards, in particular:
Check that the installation norms for pellet boilers meet local, national and European
standards.
Follow the requirements of this document.
Check that the pipes and air supply are in accordance with the type of installation.
Do not make temporary electrical connections or use unsuitable cables.
Check the earthing of the electrical system.
Always use individual safety equipment and all the legally required protection.
Always leave enough space for maintenance work.
To connect the boiler to the chimney, it is necessary to obtain the consent of a chimney
sweep.
After installation, measure the ue gas emissions.
5.1. PLACEMENT
It is recommended to remove the packaging of the pellet boiler when the boiler is located
where it will be installed.
If adjacent walls and / or oors are made of non-heat-resistant material, adequate protection
must be provided and insulation made of non-combustible material must be used.
To protect a oor that is made of combustible material, we advise you to place a metal plate
3 to 4 mm thick under the boiler, which exceeds the depth of the boiler on the front by at least
30 cm.
The pellet boiler should be installed in accordance with the sketch, which denes the distances
from the walls(Figure 1).
If the boiler is installed in a boiler room, where air extraction devices are already located, (other
boilers, various intake fans, etc.) make sure that the volume of supply air is large enough for the
safe operation of the combustion device.
If the chimney goes through the ceiling, it must be adequately insulated with a diaphragm
made of non-combustible insulating material.
When the pellet boiler is being put in its nal position, it must be levelled with the support feet
(placed in a horizontal position).
