5.6. FIRST START OF THE BOILER
The rst start-up of the boiler may only be carried out by a service techni-
cian authorized by the manufacturer, otherwise the warranty is not valid.
After the installation of the boiler is completed, it is mandatory to perform
measurements of ue gas emissions.
Guidelines for the safety of persons, animals and personal property
We want to point installers to some general guidelines to be followed as necessary for the
pellet boiler will be installed correctly. These are required standards, but they are not enough;
for more and more accurate information it is necessary to read the rest of the Instructions for
use, maintenance and installation.
Connect the pellet boiler to the mains;
Do not allow children and animals to approach the pellet boiler;
Use only good quality pellets and not other types of fuels;
Inform all users about the potential risks and dangers, and teach them how to handle a
pellet boiler;
If the pellet boiler is placed on a wooden oor, the oor must be protected in accordance
with regulations.
The pellet boiler works by creating a under-pressure in the combustion
chamber, so make sure that the ue gas discharge is thermally sealed.
During the rst start-up (minimum 1 hour of boiler operation), vapours that
have an unpleasant odour are eliminated from the paint, so ventilate the
room.
