6 Operation
The pressure equipment must be checked at regular in-
tervals by qualified and authorised staff. The test inter-
vals depend on the mode of operation. They must be
defined by the system operator.
7 Maintenance
Liquid receivers and oil separators OA1854(A) ..
OA25012(A) / OA1954(A) .. OA25112(A) are designed
for a maintenance-free operation.
The filter cartridges in combined and secondary oil sep-
arators must be changed when the pressure drop ex-
ceeds 0.5 bar.
7.1 Changing the filter cartridges
• Close the shut-off valves before and after the oil sep-
arator.
• Depressurize the oil separators. For this, extract the
refrigerant and dispose of it properly.
• Remove the filter cartridges.
• Install new cartridges accordingly.
• Complete oil charge (see chapter Charging with oil,
page 27). Do not re-use the used oil!
WARNING
The pressure equipment is under pressure!
Serious injuries are possible!
Depressurise the pressure equipment!
Wear safety goggles!
