Accessing Email Messages
1. Click Messages ( ) to display a message list.
2. Highlight a message and click the trackpad to display the message.
Sending Text Messages (SMS)
You can send text messages (SMS) to up to 10 recipients.
1. Click SMS And MMS () > > Compose SMS Text.
2. In the To field, do one of the following:
䡲 Type an email address.
䡲 Type a compatible phone number (include area code).
䡲 Type a contact name.
䡲 Type part of a contact name and then click the desired contact.
䡲 Presss > Choose Contact, and then click a contact.
3. Click OK.
4. Type a message, and then press the Enter key ( ).
Sending PIN Messages
A personal identification number (PIN) uniquely identifies each BlackBerry device on the
network. If you know the PIN of another BlackBerry device user, you can send a PIN
message to that person. To find your PIN, click
Options () > Status from the Home screen.
Note: If you have set up more than one supported email account on your BlackBerry device, you can select
an account to send the message from. At the top of the message, in the
Send Using field, press the
Space key until the preferred email account appears.
