What to do if the Blaze King Indoor Fireplace convection blower does not operate?
    • J
      Jordan ClarkAug 12, 2025
If the convection blower in your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace isn't working, first check the electrical supply to the unit. Ensure the fan speed control isn't in the off position and try a different setting. Check the thermal snap switch for proper positioning; you can bypass it to test its operation. Make sure all electrical connections are secure. You can also bypass the speed controller to check if it’s defective. If bypassing the speed control results in 120 VAC to the motor, but the motor still doesn't work, the blower motor itself is likely defective. The causes can be no power supply, a loose or defective thermal snap switch, a loose electrical connection, a defective speed controller, or a defective blower.

What to do if the main burner does not turn on with the pilot lit in my Blaze King 6003?
    • D
      Donna ReeseAug 16, 2025
If the main burner on your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace doesn't ignite with the pilot lit, ensure the control knob is in the ‘ON’ position. Check the thermopile for a reading of at least 250mv. You can test for a faulty connection or switch by placing a jumper wire across the TH-THTP terminals; if the burner ignites, this indicates a problem with the on/off switch, wall switch, or thermostat. Also, verify the minimum inlet gas supply pressure before considering gas valve replacement. Possible causes include the gas valve not being in the on position, a faulty thermopile, a faulty unit on/off switch, a faulty thermostat, or a faulty gas valve.

Why does my Blaze King Indoor Fireplace pilot will not remain on after being lit?
    • T
      Teresa CopelandAug 19, 2025
If the pilot light on your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, first check if the pilot flame is large enough to reach and surround the thermocouple. If the flame is too small, verify the correct gas supply pressure. If the pressure is adequate, adjust the pilot flame size using the adjustment screw on the valve. If adjustment isn't possible, the pilot orifice might be obstructed. Check the thermocouple for at least 30 mV. Also, inspect the connections of the thermocouple and thermopile to the valve. If the readings are correct for both, consider replacing the gas valve. The causes can be poor pilot flame, faulty thermocouple, thermocouple and/or thermopile grounding, loose TP-THTP on gas valve, or faulty gas valve.

How to fix frequent pilot outage problems in my Blaze King Indoor Fireplace?
    • B
      Bradley LambertAug 23, 2025
To address frequent pilot outages in your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace, start by adjusting and cleaning the pilot. Inspect the switch wires for any grounding issues. Check the thermocouple millivolts. Also, ensure the termination location isn't exposed to harsh environmental conditions. The causes can be pilot adjusted too low, switch wires grounding out, worn thermocouple, or adverse wind conditions.

Why does the main burner shuts off when the Blaze King 6003 is warm?
    • M
      Matthew GreenAug 31, 2025
If the main burner shuts off when your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace gets warm, check the thermopile voltage from startup. A dramatic drop in millivolts indicates the pilot is lifting. Also, ensure the vent is correctly attached. The cause is pilot flame lifting of thermopile.

Why there is excessive soot on burner or logs in my Blaze King 6003?
    • H
      Hannah SilvaSep 4, 2025
If you notice excessive soot on the burner or logs of your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace, check the aeration setting and ensure the venting is correctly attached. The causes can be incorrect aeration adjustment or incorrect venting.

Why are there sharp blue flames lifting off burner in my Blaze King Indoor Fireplace?
    • C
      Christopher RangelSep 8, 2025
If you observe sharp blue flames lifting off the burner in your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace, reduce the primary aeration adjustment. The cause can be incorrect aeration adjustment.

What to do if pilot will not light after pressing the sparker many times in Blaze King Indoor Fireplace?
    • A
      Allison PattersonNov 26, 2025
If the pilot light on your Blaze King Indoor Fireplace fails to ignite after repeatedly pressing the sparker, begin by purging air from the gas line and ensure the gas supply to the appliance is turned on with adequate pressure. Check for sparks between the spark electrode and the pilot head when the sparker is pressed. If no sparks are present, inspect the connection from the sparker to the electrode for breaks or poor connections, check for any shorting or arcing, and examine the piezo for defects. Also, inspect the spark electrode for defects or cracks. With the viewing door open, attempt to light the pilot with a match. Note that if there's no gas or air flowing from the pilot despite adequate gas pressure to the appliance, the pilot orifice may be blocked or the gas valve could be def...
