The Blaze King Contemporary is listed and certified for installation in the U.S.A. and Canada under the
following standards:
- ANSI Z21.88b-2007/CSA 2.33b-2007, Vented Gas Fireplace Heater.
- CAN/CGA-2.17 M-91, Gas-Fired Appliances for Use at High Altitudes

This appliance, when installed must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the
absence of local codes the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA 70 in the U.S.A or the current CAN/CGA
B149 Installation Code and the current Canadian Electrical code CSA C22.1 in Canada.
This appliance is for use only with the type of gas indicated on the rating plate. This appliance is not
convertible for use with other gases, unless a certified kit is used.

The Contemporary is one of the most advanced free standing gas stoves on the market. It is designed using

Certified as a heating appliance. Therefore, the Contemporary is suitable for continuous operation for zone heating.

This appliance may be installed as an OEM installation in a manufactured home (USA only). Mobile
home installations (USA and Canada) must be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
and the manufactured home construction and safety standard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280 or Standard for
Installations in Mobile Homes, CAN/CSA Z240 MH.
