* If the knob does not pop up when released, stop and immediately call your service
technician or gas supplier.
* If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn the gas control knob to OFF and call
your service technician or gas supplier.
9. Turn the gas control knob counter clockwise to ON. Turn on all electric power to the appliance.
Set the thermostat to desired setting.
NOTE: IF THERMOSTAT IS TO BE USED, THE STOVE ON/OFF SWITCH SHOULD BE IN
THE OFF POSITION. IF SWITCH IS LEFT ON, THE STOVE WILL CONTINUE TO RUN.
TO TURN OFF GAS APPLIANCE:
1. Set the thermostat to lowest setting.
2. Turn off all electric power to the appliance if a service is to be performed.
3. Push in the gas control knob slightly and turn clockwise to OFF. DO NOT FORCE.
NOTE: Fan operation is controlled by the temperature of the stove. It will turn on after the stove reaches
approximately 200 degrees F and will run after the stove is turned off until it cools down.

NOTE: LINE AND MANIFOLD PRESSURES MAY BE TAKEN BY LOCATING THE APPROPRIATE “NIPPLE”
BENEATH THE VALVE, BACK OUT THE NEEDLE SCREW A COUPLE OF TURNS AND THEN ATTACHING A
TUBE TO THE NIPPLE. BE SURE TO CLOSE THE NEEDLE AFTER TAKING READING. NOTE THAT THE
NEEDLE SCREW IS LOCATED INSIDE THE NIPPLE.
