Replacing battery in the
remote-control unit
with central locking

If the LED lamp on the remote-
control unit fails to light up when
a button is pressed, or only lights
up briefly:
Replace the battery in the
remote-control unit.
Open the battery compartment
cover 1.
Dispose of the old battery in
accordance with legal regula-
tions. Do not dispose of the
battery in the household waste.
Incorrect batteries or polar-
ity can destroy the device.
Use a battery compliant with the
manufacturer's specifications.
When inserting the battery, make
sure that the polarity is correct.
Insert the new battery with the
positive side up.

The LED on the remote con-
trol lights up; the remote-con-
trol unit must now be synchro-
nized.
Press button 1 twice.
LED 3 flashes for several sec-
onds.
The remote-control is again
ready to be used.

Switch on ignition.
