RS-485 for extension modules
The RS-485 Extension Module Bus expands the AMC2-4W with
additional I/O modules (AMC2-8IOE, AMC2-16IE, AMC2-16IOE)
and/or with the reader interface extension AMC2-4WE.

Up to three expansion modules can be connected to provide
additional in- and outputs, for example, for elevator control.
You can find further information about the extension boards in
their installation manuals.
