10.7 Triggering fire verification
10.7.1 Alarm verification
The transmission of the alarm is delayed. The alarm message must be checked to ensure it is
correct in the place where the detector generating the alarm is located.
An internal buzzer sounds on the panel. The signaling devices (e.g. sirens) and transmission
device to the fire department are not activated.
The time for checking the fire alarm is called the time to investigate. The duration of this time
can be different for every logical zone. The time to investigate is started if the fire alarm is
confirmed on the panel within the time to acknowledge.
Cuidado!
If another fire alarm is reported during the time to investigate, all alarm messages are
transmitted to the fire department. The time to investigate is canceled.
If a real fire alarm is detected during the on-site inspection, the alarm must be forwarded to
the fire department; see
Triggering alarm manually, página 44
. Alternatively, a manual call
point can be triggered at the location.
If it is a false alarm, the triggering detector can be reset or bypassed; see resetting alarm
message or bypassing detectors.
Cuidado!
All alarm and fault messages from bypassed detectors are no longer displayed.
10.7.2 Starting time to investigate
Cuidado!
