9 Troubleshooting
Problem Possible cause Possible solution
DSP matrix mixer or
amplifier: does not work and
power LEDs are not
illuminated.
Power (plug)
disconnected and/or the
unit is switched off
Insert power cord and
switch on the unit.
DSP matrix mixer or
amplifier: No audio.
An audio output cable
has come loose or has
not been properly
plugged in.
Within the PC GUI
controls the input or
output levels have been
muted or reduced to a
very low level.
Input source is not
working correctly.
Check all input and
output audio
connections, Plug in
audio cables properly.
Check the audio levels in
the PC GUI are not
muted or set to a level
that is too low.
Check the input source
is working correctly and
sending an appropriate
level of signal.
DSP matrix mixer or
amplifier: The audio output
sound is distorted or sounds
strange:.
The audio output cable
has not been properly
plugged in.
The correct cables have
not been used.
The input level is
clipping.
Music source material is
not correct.
Check all connections
have been made and
plugged in properly.
Check the recommended
cables have been used.
Turn down the input
level in the PC GUI
configuration screen.
Switch music source.
Amplifier: Fault light
constantly ON ( Red).
Indicates a fault with
that amplifier channel.
Send immediately for
service and/or contact
the Bosch authorized
dealer or installer for
assistance.
Amplifier: Fault light lit for
approx. one second.
This is indicating
protection on that
channel (overload or
short condition).
The amplifier
automatically retries the
channel after this time (1
min).
Note that the amplifier
will not detect a short-
circuit directly without
signal - for instance, if a
short is on the output,
but no signal is being
driven, the amplifier may
not actually be in fault
