Operation
. To open the language selection screen (steps 1 to 3), you can also
use the direct selection mode with parameter number 159. For
more information about the direct selection mode, see page 4−7 ff.
If the device is set to a language with which you are not familiar, proceed
as follows to set the language:
1. Press the
F
key.
2. Move the cursor to the 3rd line, enter ”159” and press the
key.
3. Press the
F
key.
4. Use key
or to select the desired language and press key .
4.5.3 Setting the LCD contrast
The contrast of the display can be set as needed. If the surroundings are
bright, increase the contrast; if they are less bright, decrease the con-
trast. This improves the display’s readability.
L Proceed as follows to set the contrast:
1. Press the
key.
2. Use the
or key to move the cursor to the ”SETUP BT” line.
3. Press the
key 2 times.
The cursor is in the ”LCD contrast” line.
4. Set the desired contrast using the numeric keys or the
+
or
−
key.
5. Press key
to set the contrast
– or –
key
to reset the contrast to the default value.
L Press the
key to return to the uppermost menu level.
