11 Maintenance 11
Attention:
Warranty claims will only be accepted if maintenance has
been performed properly! Follow safety regulations!
11.1 Operation and Maintenance Summary
11.1
When starting operation:
Weekly:
Turn on steam supply
Turn on room ventilation system
Empty and clean water separator
Turn on cooling water supply Start Slimsorba maintenance P9
Turn on compressed air supply Start drum back plate flushing P51
Open condensate valve Wash lint filter mat
Turn on machine main switch Drain water from compressed air
armature
Start deodorizing program P34, press
"STOP" button when program ends and
signal sounds
Clean the sprayer dirt strainers and
spray nozzles
Check the function of the disposal vessel
overfill sensor
When stopping operation:
Start maintenance program P10 when
economy filter at 1.5 bar pressure (at
least every 50 cycles)
Monthly:
Check pH level (7 –9 indicates good
solvent condition)
Start distillation maintenance P36 and
wait for signal
Check solvent levels in the tanks
Turn off machine main switch Clean water and steam feeder strainers
Turn off steam supply Lubricate cage bearing
Close condensate valve Lubricate fan shaft gasket
Turn off cooling water supply
Semi-annually:
Turn off compressed air supply
compressor
Clean air cooler
Clean tanks
Turn off room ventilation system or
switch to night operation
Check V-belt tension, retension
Inspection and maintenance work:
Retighten screwed unions
Daily:
(before starting the first cycle) Annually:
Check machine for leaks Machine inspection (following VBG 66)
Check solvent safety trough for solvent Check sacrificial anode, replace if
necessary
If needed, add neutralization agent to
still
Remove filter disc and clean in
machine (program P6)
Clean button trap strainer and lint filter
see 11.5.1)
Check Slimsorba activated carbon
Drain water separator water trap into the
process water tank (or safety separator)
Check water level in still heating
chamber (elec.)
Check process water tank (or safety
separator), drain if necessary. Dispose
of according to regulations for your
country!
Attention:
Close loading door and
maintenance openings again
immediately
Check the liquid level in the cleaning
agent container
Use only lithium-based lubricating
greases, such as:
Check small steam generator pressure
gauge level (elec.)
- ALVANIA 3 (SHELL) - MARSON L2 (FINA)
- BEACON 2 (ESSO) - LGMT 3 (SKF)
