Operating Instructions
Machine Start-up
To start the machine, the operator must:
1. Stand on the operator’s platform (Item 1, Figure 3–10).

2. Rotate the ignition key switch to the HEAT position (Item 1, Figure 3–11) for about
10 seconds.
3. Move the throttle lever (Item 1, Figure 3–12) to about half way between fast and
idle engine speeds.
4. Rotate and hold the starter switch in the START (Item 4, Figure 3–11) position until
the engine starts.
