i. Reinstall the end cap so the dust ejector valve is down and secure the end cap with the
two retaining clips.
*In extremely dusty or dirty operating conditions, this service cycle may need to be
shortened.
5. Replace fuel lter.
Make sure to clean up any spilled fuel from in and around the engine compartment of
the machine. Spilled fuel may be ignited by a hot engine.
a. Locate fuel lter assembly through the opening in the frame along the left side of the
machine.
b. Unscrew the lter canister.
NOTE:
• The fuel lter will be lled with diesel fuel. Make sure to drain the fuel from the lter
into an appropriate container.
• Dispose of the used fuel lter in an appropriate manner, and according to State and
Local regulations.
c. Before installing the new canister lter, lubricate the rubber sealing ring on top of the
lter with a small amount of diesel fuel.
d. Install the new lter.

NOTE: Place a container underneath the fuel injection pump to catch any spilled
diesel fuel. Dispose of the used fuel in an appropriate manner.
