For safety, when shifting from
“forward” to “reverse” or from
“reverse” to “forward”, put
the lever in the “neutral” po-
sition and wait for the tractor
to stop moving before shifting
the gear to the opposite direc-
tion. To ensure safety, the le-
ver must first be pulled up-
ward for shifting to another
position.

It is used to make the engine run
faster or slower. It is also used when
working at a constant speed.
