12. Support the rotor with wooden blocks at 90° to the spokes, with the wear ring (A) facing down.
Position a suitable punch against the rear of the glued wear ring. Prevent damage to the wear
ring seat or other parts.
13. Turn the rotor over. Make sure that the seats of the new wear ring (A) and rotor are clean, dry
and free of grease. Apply Loctite® type 641 or 603 both on the rotor and the wear ring.
Position the new wear ring with the tapered edge facing up. Use a plastic hammer to fit the
ring on the rotor until it touches the rotor completely.
14. Check that the hub is clean and free of grease.
15. Fit the bearings and the rings. The bearings are placed on the hub with a slight interference fit.
Use a pressing tool to press the bearings on the hub.
