NOTE
Risk of damage!
If you transport your e-bike outside
your car, e.g., on a luggage rack,
moisture can penetrate system
components even at low speeds.
» Remove the battery from the e-bike.
» Protect all e-bike components such
as the display, drive, open plugs, etc.
from moisture penetration. You can
obtain appropriate protectors from
the bike dealer.
INFORMATION
Undamaged batteries can be
transported on the road by the private
user without further requirements.
28 Maintenance
· Visually inspect the electrical lines,
connections and contacts regularly to
ensure that they are undamaged and
clean.
· Arrange for your Brose Drive System
to be given a technical inspection
at least once a year to ensure that
all components are present and
functional (e.g. mechanics, up-to-
date system software).
For service or repairs to the Brose Drive
System or in case of a component failure
(e.g. battery or charger), contact an
authorized Brose dealer.
