(1) Press the or key to display
“MAINTENANCE 66” on the LCD in the
initial state of the maintenance mode.
Then, press the OK key.
“REGISTRATION” is displayed on the
LCD.
(2) Press the or key to display “SET
REGISTRATION” on the LCD.
(3) Press the Go key. “1. MAGENTA=0” is
displayed on the LCD. Using the
misregistration correction chart printed
by “■ Misregistration correction chart”,
identify the numeric value whose color
is the darkest in the pattern of (1)
(Magenta Left).
Press the or key to display the
identified numeric value.
(4) Press the Go key, and enter each
numeric value of the patterns (2) to (9)
in the same way.
(5) When you enter the numeric value of
the pattern (9) (Yellow Right),
“COMPLETED” is displayed on the LCD.
(6) Press the Cancel key to return the
machine to the initial state of the
maintenance mode.
(1) Press the 6 key twice in the initial state
of the maintenance mode.
“REGISTRATION” is displayed on the
LCD.
(2) Press the or key to display “SET
REGISTRATION” on the LCD.
(3) Press the SET key. “1. MAGENTA=0” is
displayed on the LCD. Using the
misregistration correction chart printed
by “■ Misregistration correction chart”,
identify the numeric value whose color
is the darkest in the pattern of (1)
(Magenta Left).
Press the or key to display the
identified numeric value.
(4) Press the SET key, and enter each
numeric value of the patterns (2) to (9)
in the same way.
(5) When you enter the numeric value of
the pattern (9) (Yellow Right),
“COMPLETED” is displayed on the LCD.
(6) Press the X key to return the machine
to the initial state of the maintenance
mode.

(1) Press the or key to display
“MAINTENANCE 66” on the LCD in the
initial state of the maintenance mode.
Then, press the OK key.
“REGISTRATION” is displayed on the
LCD.
(2) Press the or key to display “ADD
REGISTRATION” on the LCD.
(3) Press the Go key. “PLS WAIT 66-1” is
displayed on the LCD and sensitivity
adjustment of registration sensor and
adjustment of inter-color position
alignment are performed automatically.
(4) When this operation is completed
without an error, “COMPLETED” is
displayed on the LCD.
(5) Press the Cancel key to return the
machine to the initial state of the
maintenance mode.
(1) Press the 6 key twice in the initial state
of the maintenance mode.
“REGISTRATION” is displayed on the
LCD.
(2) Press the or key to display “ADD
REGISTRATION” on the LCD.
(3) Press the SET key. “PLS WAIT 66-1” is
displayed on the LCD and sensitivity
adjustment of registration sensor and
adjustment of inter-color position
alignment are performed automatically.
(4) When this operation is completed
without an error, “COMPLETED” is
displayed on the LCD.
(5) Press the X key to return the machine
to the initial state of the maintenance
mode.
Note:
If the Adjustment of inter-color position alignment including registration sensor calibration
(auto) fails while being in process, “ERROR 66-1” is displayed on the LCD. Refer to the
error message list on P5-32 for the troubleshooting.
