MESSAGE MANAGER (ONLY FOR MFC-740)
Setting the Message Store
Select the setting from the descriptions of “Flexible Memory Settings”.

Press Menu, 1, 8, 1. The screen prompts you to choose a DOC:
(Document) setting.
DOC:OFF
SELECT { } & SET

Press or to select ON (or OFF).

Press Set. The screen prompts you to choose a VOICE: setting.
VOICE:ON
SELECT { } & SET

Press or to select your setting from the list (ON, OFF or
EXT).

Press Set when the screen displays your selection.

Press Stop to exit.
Recording the Message Manager’s Outgoing
Message (TAD MESSAGE)
Recording the Message Manager’s Outgoing Message (TAD
MESSAGE) is the second step you need to follow before you can turn
on the Message Manager. Make sure your OGM (Outgoing Message) is
less than 20 seconds long.

This is the only setting you can select if you want to turn the Message
Manager ON.
