Drive Belt
Visually inspect belt alignment and
condition before each ride.
Belt alignment and deflection adjust-
ment should always be performed by
an authorized Can-Am roadster dealer
accordingtothe

Drive Belt Alignment
The gap between the belt and the
sprocket internal flange should be
a minimum of 0.5 mm (.02 in). If
belt goes beyond the outside edge
of sprocket, have the belt properly
aligned by an authorized Can-Am road-
ster dealer as soon as possible.

Drive Belt Wear
Inspect the drive belt with the vehicle
in neutral, engine off, on a level surface
with plenty of room — you will have to
roll the vehicle forward or backward to
see the full length of the belt.
