5.6.2 Bilge pumps and draining
The locations of draining equipment are shown in Appendix 1, Figure 2.
Bilge pumps or the ends of suction tubes are located as close to the baseboard as possible. It
is, however, natural that the bilge always contains a small quantity of water that the bilge pump
cannot remove.
The Buster S is equipped with a single manual bilge pump. When the bilge pump is used at a
rateof45rpm,theShasadrainingcapacityof18l/min.Thebilgepump'sdetachableleveris
located in a plastic holder next to the pump.
The Buster Lx, L1, L2, M2, S1, and Scc are equipped with automatic electric bilge pumps. The
automatic bilge pump drains water from the bilge when the surface sensor detects water. The
capacity of the electric bilge pump is approximately 38 liters per minute. The automatic bilge pump
is always on standby when the battery is attached, regardless of the position of the main switch.
The automatic bilge pump activates when the sensor has been fully submerged for 10 seconds.
It deactivates when the sensor has been dry for more than two seconds. The pump can also be
activated manually using a switch located in the steering console.
On all models, the electronic bilge pump activation switch is equipped with a light that indicates
whether the bilge pump is operating. The light is on whenever the pump is operating. If the
light does not come on, the fuse of the bilge pump should be checked and the pump should be
inspected.
Both the electric and manual bilge pumps should have their suction heads regularly inspected
and cleaned of any waste. The pump can be accessed through the service hatch in the engine
pit. The pump on the Cabin can be accessed via the maintenance hatch in the swim platform.
The Buster Mini does not have a pump. The boat should be drained using draining equipment
(Easy Bail) or a bailer. Draining equipment operates using water currents: when the boat is
planing, open the valve using the lever located under the rear bench to discharge the bilge
water via the low-pressure chamber. Alternatively, the boat can be drained using draining

NB! The owner or operator is responsible for ensuring that at least one bucket or bailer is kept aboard the board.
It must be attached to the boat by a rope to prevent loss.
5.6.3 Stability and buoyancy
The stability of Buster boats is excellent thanks to their hull shape and balanced distribution of
masses.However,pleasebearinmindthatlargebreakingwavesalwaysrepresentasignicant
