7. Wiring in the electrical panel
7.1. General instructions
Multi-stranded wires must be equipped with crimped terminals for the screw connectors.
For rigid single strand wires, make sure that the terminals are tightened against the fully stripped end
portion and not against the insulating sleeve of the wire.
Tighten the terminals firmly. Check that they are properly tightened by pulling moderately on the wire.
Do not forget to properly tighten the cable gland once the wires are connected.
7.2. Choosing the cables
The power cable is not supplied with the electrical panel. Select a power cable compatible with the maximum
rated current of the electrical cable, that is, with a minimum wire cross section of 2.5 mm². Cables connecting
pool equipment items to the electrical panel should be selected (notably wire cross section) based on the rated
current of the equipment item and the length of the cable: see the standard NF C15-100. The input/output
terminals on the board are designed to receive cables with a maximum wire cross section of 1.5 mm².
CAUTION
Plug any cable glands that are not in use to avoid any risk of contact with the electrical components.
