CAST XFP 16 ZONE ANALOGUE ADDRESSABLE FIRE ALARM PANEL
DISPLAY DATABASE
This function allows you to view the panel’s database of loop devices. The information displayed
includes the device’s type, address and description (zone and device text).
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineer Functions > Display Database.
When the DISPLAY DATABASE prompt is accepted, ‘Loop 1’ is displayed, press Accept
4 button and
you will be prompted to enter the device number.
Press the
5and6 scroll buttons to select the device address, then press the Accept 4 button.
The information that is stored on the database that relates to that address will appear, for example:
In the above example, ‘Dev: 22/0’ denotes device address ‘22’ and sub-address ‘0’. Sub-addresses only
apply to I/O units which may have multiple channels and can be configured as both an input and an
output.
You can now press the
5and6 buttons to scroll through the rest of the loop device database.
Press Escape
3 button to exit.

VERSION NUMBERS
This function allows you to view the current version number of the panel’s firmware and to check when
the site’s data was last changed.
Enter AL3 (4444) > Engineer Functions > Version Numbers.
When accepted, the following two windows (with details specific to the panel) will scroll in quick
succession. Press Escape
3 button to exit.
Matching site data codes, e.g. 48154/48154
and program checksum codes, e.g.
16886/16886, indicate that the panel
is functioning correctly. Mis-matched
numbers, e.g. 48154/40286, indicate that
the panel’s memory may be corrupt.
