Zur Messung gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Entnehmen Sie das Etikettenmaterial aus dem
Drucker.
2. Setzen Sie einen Schraubendreher o.ä. an der
Einkerbung (2) an und schieben Sie die Abdeck-
kappe (4) vom Etikettenabwickler (1).
3. Stecken Sie den Prüfkörper (7), Art.-Nr. 5539223, auf
den Wickler (1).
Hinweis!
Der in den Prüfkörper eingelassene Stift (6)
muss in die Einkerbung (2) des Abwicklers
greifen.
4. Wickeln Sie die am Prüfkörper (7) angebrachte
Schnur mehrfach um den Prüfkörper.
5. Hängen Sie die Federwaage (5), 25 N, an das
Schnurende und bewegen Sie diese senkrecht nach
oben, bis sich der Wickler zu drehen beginnt. Lesen
Sie die Federwaagenskala erst ab, wenn mindestens
eine Umdrehung abgewickelt wurde.
6. Lesen Sie den Messwert F während des Abwickelns
ab.
Measure as follows:
1. Remove all label stock from the printer.
2. Apply a screwdriver to the notch (2) and shift the end
cap (4) from the media unwinder (1).
3. Attach the test collar (7), item no. 5539223, to the
media unwinder (1).
Notice!
The pin (6) at the test collar must snap into
the notch (2) of the media unwinder.
4. Wind the string attached to the test collar (7) several
times around it.
5. Attach the spring balance (5), 25 N, to the end of the
string and move it vertically upwards until the hub
starts to rotate. Do not take a reading off the spring
balance scale until at least one full turn has unwound.
6. During unwinding read the measured value F.

Die Messung des Moments erfolgt über die Bestimmung der
Zugkraft an einem auf den Etikettenabwickler gesteckten
Prüfkörper (Artikel-Nr. 5539223).
Der physikalische Zusammenhang zwischen Moment und
Zugkraft lautet:
F = M / r F = Zugkraft
M = Wickelmoment
r = Radius des Prüfkörpers (30 mm)
Measuring the Torque at the A8 Media Unwinder
The torque is measured by determining the traction using a
test collar (item no. 5539223) which is shifted onto the
media unwinder.
The physical relation between torque and traction is as
follows:
F = M / r F = traction
M = rewind torque
r = radius of test collar (1.2 in / 30 mm)
