4.9.2 A4/A6 Printers with
Serial Number 15000 or higher
4.9.2 Drucker A4/A6 ab Seriennummer 15000
Replace the power unit as follows:
1. Disconnect the printer from the mains connection.
Pay attention to the notice regarding the capacitor
charge in the power unit.
2. Remove the rear cover of the printer.
3. Dismount the PCB CPU as described in section 4.7.
4. Free the flat ribbon cable (3) for the label edge sensor
from the cable holders (5).
5. Remove the two screws M4x10 (4) holding the Cover
Plate.
The Cover Plate (1) is slid behind the screw (2), so
remove the Cover Plate sidewards.
Wechseln Sie das Netzteil wie folgt:
1. Trennen Sie den Drucker vom Netzanschluss!
Beachten Sie den Hinweis auf die Kondensator-
ladung im Netzteil!
2. Demontieren Sie die Rückwand.
3. Bauen Sie die Leiterplatte CPU gemäß Abschnitt 4.7
aus.
4. Lösen Sie die Flachbandleitung (3) der Etikettenlicht-
schranke aus den Kabelhaltern (5).
5. Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben M4x10 (4).
Das Abdeckblech (1) ist hinter die Schraube (2)
geschoben, nehmen Sie deshalb das Abdeckblech
seitlich heraus.

Danger to life and limb!
Disconnect the printer from the mains
connection, otherwise there is a risk to life
and limb from the live wires inside the open
printer!
While switched-on, the power unit has a voltage of up to
380 V as a function of the capacitor. However, when the
printer or power unit is switched off, this voltage falls to
non dangerous levels (< 42 V) within one minute.
Nevertheless, there remains a danger for about one
minute after the power pack has been switched off
while the capacitor is discharging!
Please be aware of these hazards!

Trennen Sie den Drucker vom Netzanschluss
sonst besteht Lebensgefahr durch
spannungsführende Leiter im Innern des
geöffneten Druckers!
Das Netzteil hält im eingeschalteten Zustand
kondensatorbedingt eine Spannung von bis zu 380 V.
Diese Spannung klingt innerhalb einer Minute nach dem
Abschalten des Druckers bzw. Netzteils auf ungefährli-
che Werte (< 42 V) ab. Während der Entladezeit des
Kondensators (Elko) von ca. einer Minute besteht
jedoch die Gefahr auch nach dem Abschalten des
Netzteils!
Bitte beachten Sie diese Gefährdung!
