III. Service Authorization
To obtain and maintain authorization to provide warranty and post-warranty
service, an ASF (Authorized Service Facility) must have at least two employees
certified to service the imageCLASS MF236n and imageCLASS MF232w.
IV. Educational Training
A. Training Program Overview
To be certified to service the imageCLASS MF200 Series, a Service
Technician must download and take the imageCLASS MF4570dw *
MF4570dn * MF4450 * D550 CBT (Computer Based Training) course. The
imageCLASS MF4570dw * MF4570dn * MF4450 * D550 CBT is available for
download via the TRAINING section of the Authorized Service Facility
Support Center Web site. The CBT course provides the technician with the
knowledge required for servicing and maintaining the imageCLASS MF200
Series.
B. Certification
It is recommended that a technician successfully complete the imageCLASS
MF4570dw * MF4570dn * MF4450 * D550 online CBT course to receive
certification to service the imageCLASS MF200 Series.
C. Who Should Complete
Any technician responsible for serving or supporting the imageCLASS MF200
Series machines must successfully complete the online CBT course.
