6.2 Starting
1. Lock the brake pedal by lowering lock lever with the
brake pedal pressed down.

2. Push the blade clutch lever to "OFF".

3. Release foot from the HST pedal.
* Always start engine in area with adequate ventilation to
prevent poisoning from exhaust gas.
4. Confirm that the auxiliary speed change lever is at
"NEUTRAL".
* When blade clutch lever is "ON", a safety switch
is engaged and engine will not start.
