12. Lock brake pedal by lowering lock lever with brake
pedal pressed down.
13. Warm-up engine without load according to the following
table.
Air temperature Recommended warm-up time
Over 0°C About 10 minutes
0°C to -10°C 10 to 20 minutes
-10°C to -20°C 20 to 30 minutes
Under -20°C More than 30 minutes
* Warm-up engine before using in cold environments to avoid
engine seizure.
* During the first 40 to 50 hours of new machine use, only use
light loads and avoid severe operations.
* Never turn the key to "START" when the engine is running. This will damage
the starting motor or cause failure of the engine.
10. Shift the accelerator lever to "LOW".
11. After using the choke lever, return the choke lever to the
"FULL" position.
