Track
There shall not be any marked cut,
deterioration, or wear.
Track shall be properly tensioned; shall not
be too loose or too tight.

Tension bolt shall be free of deformation or
corrosion.
Transmission
Transmission shall not jump out of the gear.
Irregular noise or overheating shall not be
observed.
There shall not be oil leaks in or around
transmission.
Drive Belt
Belt shall be free of damage or wear.

Belt tension shall be properly adjusted.

Clutch
Clutch shall not make noise and shall
disengage completely when operated at idle.
Clutch shall not slip and shall engage
smoothly.
Brake
Brake shall work properly.

Brake shall be able to hold machine on a
25-degree slope.
Side Clutch
Side clutch shall work positively without
making irregular noise.
Lever play and stroke shall be properly
adjusted.

Wire shall be free of damage, excessive play
at joints, or rust on pins.
• Perform a pre-startup inspection (PSI) before each use, a monthly inspection once a
month, and a yearly inspection once a year.
• Some maintenance procedures described below may require special knowledge or tools
and instruments. Contact your CANYCOM representative to perform such procedures.
