  If the display of your Cardinal Scales does not turn on, consider the following: * Check if the batteries are correctly installed. * Replace discharged batteries with new ones. * Ensure the 9V AC/DC power adapter is fully inserted into the wall receptacle. * Verify the wall receptacle has proper AC power by testing it with another electrical appliance. * Check the circuit breaker. * Consider if there has been a power failure.
