PROGRAMMABLE OR NON-PROGRAMMABLE—Set the thermostat to operate as a non-
programmable (simplified) thermostat or a programmable thermostat.
Operating the thermostat in a programmable mode allows the end user to setup heating
and cooling setpoints for 2 or 4 periods of each day of the seven days of the week.
The thermostat has default heating and cooling setpoints outlined in the Default Setpoint
Times and Temperature Settings table shown below.
The program heating and cooling setpoints and transition times for the 2 or 4 periods can
be viewed or modified in PROGRAM SCHEDULE (page 22) on the thermostat.
Choosing the non-programmable mode for the thermostat allows it to run in a simplified
mode that will satisfy heating or cooling setpoints based on the setpoint value and mode.
When the thermostat is set to NP (non-programmable):
• OCC/UNOCC/RESUME SCHEDULE button is not displayed on the home screen.
• OCCUPIED, UNOCCUPIED, and SCHEDULE PAUSED icons are not displayed on the
home screen.
• The program schedule cannot be viewed.
When the REMOTE SENSOR setting is set to OCC (Occupancy), this setting is forced to NP
and is not displayed to the installer.

overrides the program schedule.
