11.5.4 Setting the opening duration
The opening duration is the length of time for which the locking device remains coupled after an authorised
locking medium is held in the reading field of the locking device.
The longer the opening duration, the more time people have to operate the locking device following
authentication with a locking medium. The maximum opening duration is 180 seconds.

Time-Master (must be authorised for the locking device beforehand)
Procedure:
Steps Signal
1. Hold the Time-Master in the reading field of the locking device.
The locking device starts issuing short green signals. Each signal represents 1 second
of opening duration (e.g. five signals = five-second opening duration).

2. Hold the Time-Master in front of the locking device until the desired opening
duration is reached.
3. Remove the Time-Master from the reading field.
The set opening duration is stored. 1x long green
The minimum opening duration is 2 seconds. If you remove the Time-Master
from the reading field after 1 second, the opening duration is set to 2
seconds.
The maximum opening duration is 180 seconds. Even if you hold the Time-
Master in the reading field for longer, the opening duration is set to 180
seconds.
