CAUTION: The load cell sensor used in your DF II Series gauge is temperature sensitive. The
gauge should be turned On and allowed to acclimate to ambient temperature before normal use
and before being calibrated.
A 5 minute “warm-up” period is recommended.
1.0 GETTING STARTED
The Chatillon
®
DF II Series digital force gauges are battery powered precision instruments used to mea-
sure axial tensile or compressive forces.
The following models represent the DF II Series force gauges:
n DFE II Series (With Outputs)
n DFS II Series (Integral Loadcell)
n DFS II-R Series (Dedicated Remote Loadcell)
n DFS II-R-ND Series (Interchangeable Sensor)
- SLC Series (Loadcell Sensor)
- STS Series (Torque Sensor)
NOTE: The functions and features described in this user’s guide may not be available on all
DF II models.
