Configuring an ERSPAN Marker Packet
Use the following commands to configure an ERSPAN marker packet:
PurposeCommand
Enables the ERSPAN marker packet for a session.
The interval can range from 1 second to 4 seconds.
marker-packet seconds
Disables the ERSPAN marker packet for a session.no marker-packet
This example shows how to enable the ERSPAN marker packet with an interval of 2 seconds:
Configuring the interval parameter is optional. If you enable the marker-packet without specifying a
parameter, it uses the default or existing interval as the interval value. The marker-packet command only
enables the marker-packet.
