1. APPLICATION
The MB 200 moisture analyzer is a precision device for the
determination of moisture content in small samples of materials by
drying the sample with halogen heaters.
The moisture analyzer is easy to use. The user sets the drying
parameters into memory, puts the samples into the weighing chamber
then starts the test. The temperature of drying is automatically regulated
and the results, elapsed time, current temperature in the chamber and
the mode are displayed during the test. The user is told when the test
has automatically stopped either due to the sample being dry and the
weight no longer changes or the elapsed time has reached the limit the
user has set. The final values are held on the display until the user
resets the balance.
The balance can be interfaced to a printer on computer. The output will
show the results as the test progresses and after the test is finished a
summary of the test can be sent to a PC or printer.
