Selecting the Correct Shoulder Harness Slot
Step 1
Place the child in the Carrier.
Step 2
Check to see which is the appropriate Shoulder Harness
Slot that fits the child. Choose the Slots at or just below
and closest to the child’s shoulders, as shown in Figure 3.
NOTE: If using the Newborn Support Headrest, you will
need to pull it forward to expose the Shoulder Harness
Slots in the Carrier to check the height of Harness Slots.
Unthreading the Shoulder Harness
Step 1
Buckle the Harness and close the Chest Clip to prevent
the Shoulder Harness Straps from twisting.
This car seat ships with the Shoulder Harness Straps in the lowest of three (3) Shoulder
Harness Slots.
As the child grows, you will need to change the Shoulder Harness Slot position. The
Shoulder Harness Straps MUST be through the Shoulder Harness Slots at or just
below and closest to the child’s shoulders. NEVER use with Shoulder Harness Straps
positioned through Shoulder Harness Slots above the top of the child’s shoulders.
