Removing Car Seat Base Installed with LATCH
Step 1
Adjust Load Leg to shortest position by pulling out and
holding bottom of Load Leg Adjustment Handle (1) while
pushing up on bottom of Load Leg (2), as shown in
Figure 51.

WARNING
• If red indicator on the side of the Release Handle is visible, the
Carrier is NOT securely attached to the Base.
Step 13
Adjust Carry Handle so that it is locked in the upright position.
Step 14
Adjust the front seat of the vehicle rearward as far back as necessary, but without it
touching the back of the Carrier.
