Securing Your Child in Car Seat
WARNING
• Shoulder Harness Straps MUST be through the Shoulder Harness
Slots at or just below and closest to the child’s shoulders.
• Strangulation Hazard: Children have
STRANGLED in loose or partially buckled
Harness Straps. Fully restrain the child even
when Carrier is used outside the vehicle.
• Snugly adjust the belts provided with this child
restraint around the child.
• Newborn Support System MUST be used with infants 11 lb (5 kg)
or less and when top of shoulders are below lowest Shoulder
Harness Slots.
• NEVER use Support Cushion when child’s shoulders are at or above
the top Shoulder Harness Slots with the Support Cushion installed.
• Child MUST be dressed in clothing with arms and legs that will not
interfere with buckling and snugly adjusting Harness.
