• Only install this car seat on vehicle seats that face
forward. NEVER install this car seat on vehicle seats
facing sideways or backwards, as shown in Figure 33.
• Only use this car seat on vehicle seats with seat
backs that lock in an upright position. Check that
the vehicle seat back is locked in an upright position
recommended by the vehicle owner’s manual for use
when installing a child restraint.
