Retractable Lap Belts (continued):
If this type of lap belt is equipped with an Automatic
Locking Retractor (ALR), or a Switchable Locking
Retractor (SLR), it can be used to secure this car seat
with or without the Base.
NEVER install this car seat with a lap belt that is
equipped with an Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR).
Motorized or Door-mounted Vehicle Belts:
NEVER use a vehicle belt where the shoulder belt is
motorized or the lap or shoulder belt is mounted on the
vehicle door, as shown in Figure 38.

on installing a car seat using the vehicle belt.
