10.4 Total energy recovery
A conguration which enables the production of hot water free-of-charge while operating in the cooling mode, thanks to the partial recovery
of condensation heat that would otherwise be rejected to the external heat source.
Hot water availability is always subordinate to the production of chilled water.

To prevent constant switching in the unit’s refrigeration circuit, it is necessary to install a storage tank with an adequate capacity in the
system’s hot water circuit.
In the absence of hot water circulating in the recovery exchanger, the maximum entering air temperature is reduced by approximately 2°C
compared with the unit without “Total Energy Recovery” mode.

When hot water is requested, the condensing coil is deactivated. Condensation takes place wholly within the recovery circuit.
